Dear Residents of Ontario,On behalf of British Columbia, I would like to inform you that the good country of Canada does in fact not operate in its entirety on Eastern Standard Time. You may be shocked to learn that when you call British Columbia at 09:00 your time, it is actually 06:00 for us. I'm not sure about how things work over there in the Center of the Universe, but calls at such an hour in the West are usually considered that of an urgent or emergency nature; it is therefore generally frowned upon to make such a call just to "chat".
