Lost Hour. Reward if Found. Monday, April 7, 2003
At approximately two o'clock in the morning on Sunday, April 7th, an hour was taken from me. Stolen, actually. While that hour was not my property per se, it was taken against my will, and dammit, I want it back! Pacific Standard Time was doing me just fine, thank you very much. I'm a standards kind of guy; for whatever reasons, I like things the way they're supposed to be. So if anyone can return me my hour, I'd be happy to present the finder with a reward.

Myself, I was getting really weary from being awoken at 5:30 AM as the sun rose. So Daylight Saving Time is a relief. Personally, though, I would like to advocate year-round DST. The sun sets too early in the winter. Plus, here in Montreal, we're punished by being too far east in the eastern timezone -- the sun's schedule is too early. (Another reason for Quebec to separate?)

I have also lost this hour and wish to be compensated.
if people are so worried about saving the sunlight for after work, than they should get up earlier in the morning. Even though time is a man made service it joins every thing and connects people to be syncronised, daylight savings puts ignorent people out of step.

I'm the culprit. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm afraid that I'll need your hour for a little bit longer, though. I promise you'll get it back on October 26.

As interest for the loan, you'll be pleased to know that I can give you a whole extra day, sometime in late February.
