In Other News...
In other news, I received a package in the mail today. I was a bit puzzled, as I hadn't ordered anything. It turned out to be a book for which I provided technical feedback, code verification, and fixing. It's got one hell of an exciting name: PHP String Handling Handbook, and if you're like me, you'll simply love it. If you're close to me, please don't feel the need to go out and buy it -- I do not benefit from any royalties. That said, there is some good information in this book. If you're a PHP developer and want to learn more about string handling, regular expressions, and form validation, this book may be for you! [Looking at back of book, gasping.] Though, that said, unless you have money to burn in your pocket, CDN $61.99 (US $39.99) may be a little steep for this book.
